In Midland on January 26th 2018 Arthur Campbell died at the age of 87. Arthur raised in Wainfleet, son of Ethel and Arleigh Campbell. A graduate of O.A.C. ‘59 and University of Toronto ’59 in Civil Engineering. Arthur is survived by his beloved wife Louise Aulph of 61 years, two cherished sons, Kevin (Vicki) of Orillia, Daryl (Maggie) of Collingwood, two grandchildren Chelsea of Orillia, Austin of Barrie and a granddaughter Jodi (Brad) of Victoria. Two sisters survive, Muriel Chaprin (John) of Toronto, and Marion Leggett (Willie) of Wainfleet. Lorna Ovenden (George) preceded Arthur was preceded by wife Jean Murray of Guelph. Marion Murray Tawse survives. Also Arts caring inlaws James Aulph (Janice) Richard and Amy (Harland) Young.
Arthur taught many years at Georgian College, Barrie Campus. Arthur was a devoted Christian who enjoyed choral music, curling and lawn bowling. His family gave him great joy.
Christian Burial will be held at Forks Rd. United Church in the spring. Burial will be at Morgans Point Cemetery Wainfleet, On. The family asks if you wish to make a memorial donation, they can be made to the Midland Public Library, St. Paul’s United Church and Forks Road United Church.
The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Art received at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Midland. We would also like to thank our friends in Little Lake Village. Their support and kindness was very much appreciated during Art’s illness.
