Obituary for Anthony “Tony” Van Couter
Anthony “Tony” Van Couter of Wallaceburg and formerly of Port Lambton died peacefully at C-K Hospice on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the age of 84. Tony is the son of the late Gerard and Madeline Van Couter. Beloved husband of the late Norma (Debock) and Vera (Young). Loving father of Debbie Stirling (Allen), Wayne Van Couter (Laurie), Theresa Marcolin (Gary) and Brenda Pinsonneault (Tim). Cherished grandfather of Chantel (David), Nicole, Tylene (Scott), Michael, Katelyn (Shawn), Kyle, Brayden and great grandfather of Kamron, Aiden, Cejay, Alivia, Alaya, Emalee, Kohen, Emery, Cayden and Lydia. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Port Lambton on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Lambton.
