Obituary of Annie Cornwell
It is with deep sadness that the family of Annie Cornwell announces her passing on Sunday, December16. Annie passed away peacefully at Tideview Terrace surrounded by her family. She loved the Lord and there is comfort in knowing she is reunited with loved ones in heaven. Always a caretaker, Annie spent most of her working years at the Children’s Training Centre; studied and graduated as a nurses aide and went on to work at Tideview Terrace helping and caring for people, as was always her nature. Annie had a kind heart, a sweet sense of humour, loved people and had a soft spot for animals. Always putting the needs of others first. She was a beautiful soul who epitomized love, kindness and compassion. She was a gifted piano player and songwriter and wrote hundreds of beautiful praise songs. She will be dearly missed.
She was the daughter of Wilfred and Josephine Comeau. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Atlee, brother Eugene, sister Mary, daughters Faye Bessey (Ron), Lynn Cornwell and great grandson Brenton Merritt. She is survived by daughters Jeanette Snow (Wayne) and Margie; sisters Evangeline, Mildred, Josephine, Marjorie and Beatrice;grandchildren:
Angie Merritt (Ron), Darryl Snow (Samantha), Christopher (Tracy) Bessey, Sarah Bessey and several great grandchildren. Our hearts overflow with thanks and love for everyone who truly became not only our mom’s extended family at Tideview, but ours as well.
