SHUFELT, Marie Anne “Anna” – age 94, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 23, 1924 in Amirault’s Hill, she was a daughter of the late James “Jimmy” and Marie Anne (Saulnier) Moody. Anna will be remembered as an exceptionally hard working lady. She spent 38 years working at Cosmos Imperial Mills/Dominion Textiles, Yarmouth. She is survived by her sons, Burton Shufelt, Brampton, ON; Lynn Shufelt, Chilliwack, BC; David (Blanche) Shufelt, Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau, as well as by grandsons, Matthew, Christopher and Josh and a sister, Celeste Maisine, Halifax. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Monty and brothers, Donald and George Moody. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2018 at Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Amirault’s Hill. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
