Andrews Dawson Kenneth 2018

DAWSON KENNETH ANDREWS, born December 3, 1941, died very suddenly, on the 6th green at the Bancroft Golf Course on Sunday September 9, 2018.
Dawson was the darling husband of 57 years of Gail Andrews (Mather) and cherished father of Julie and Jill (Dean); BEST EVER Grandpa of Eli, Coleman, Emma and Andrew and the son of George Emmerson Andrews and Joyce Hazel Sweet; predeceased by brothers Garth and Glen. He will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews and friends, and fondly remembered by his many loyal clients.
Dawson grew up in Bancroft and attended Bancroft Public School and NHHS. From there, his travels took him up north to work in the mines, to Fort Erie to work at Hortons Steel, CN railway, at Whitfields here in town, and at GM in Oshawa. In the early 70s, he became a career agent for Manulife where he remained for the balance of his 45 year career. He cared deeply about his clients and went above and beyond to give them outstanding personal service…and PENS!
Dawson loved to hunt and fish and in his later years he loved to golf. With his brother Glen, he was the co-founder of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship which originated in Maynooth.
He loved his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and our Father God.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Gideons, Heart & Stroke Foundation or HART would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth. (Cards available at the funeral home (613) 338-3259 or e-mail condolences to
