1927-2018
It is with sadness we announce the
peaceful passing of Andrew Pierre
Waterlot, age 90, of Joggins, NS.
Andrew passed away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care
Centre on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
Born in Joggins, NS, he was a son of the
late Gabriel and Helen (Bayart) Waterlot.
Andrew worked at both Sackville
Foundries and the Joggins Mine. He could make any musical
instrument produce a wonderful tune, and was an amazing
singer.
He will be sadly missed by nieces, Lisa
Tompkins, Red Deer, AB, Andrea Tompkins (Lawrence Brown), Joggins, NS,
and nephew Bobby Waterlot, New Brunswick and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Edmund
and his wife Freda Waterlot, and by his sister Simone and her husband
Stanley Tompkins.
Arrangements are entrusted to the
Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church
St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). There will be no visitation or
funeral service. A
graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10 am,
William Drysdale, DLM officiating, from the River Hebert
Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation in
Andrew’s memory may do so to the charity of your
choice.
