On December 16, 2018, unexpectedly on his way to spend Christmas with family, at the age of 61, Andrew John Fillier joined his beloved late wife, Maureen (nee Lane, 2018).
Predeceased by his parents, Robert (2007) and Caroline Fillier (2018). Cherished dad to: Terri and Brandi (Matt), wonderful brother to Rosalind (Darryl), Zoe (Tony), Robert (Christina) and Tara (Dong). Brother-in-law to Shirley (Late Doug), Joan (Derm), Judy (Don), Elizabeth (Jerome), Paula (Roy), Pat (Late) and Brian. Special uncle to Jade (Tom), Andrew, Cody, Jessica, Scott and Hayden and will be missed by all The Lane’s nieces and nephews.
Family would like to acknowledge Jim Wheeler, Andy’s great friend, buddy and travel companion, who tragically passed along side with him. Special thanks to brother in law Derm Collins who has been Andy’s rock.
There will be a celebration of life Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 1;00 – 5:00 pm at the Moose Lodge (655 Wabanaki Drive, Kitchener, Ontario). Andy and Maureen will be laid to rest together in their home town of Buchans, Newfoundland in the summer of 2019. Details to follow.
As per family request cremation has taken place.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
