In Loving Memory of Alfred Williams
It is with both deep sadness and Christian hope, that the sons of Alfred Williams announce the peaceful passing of our father who died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital.
Alfred, “Fred”, as he will be so fondly remembered, was born on December 1, 1932 in Moncton, NB. He was a son of the late Philias and Emelie (Martin) Williams.
Alfred was a painting contractor throughout his working life. He took great pride instilling an honest work ethic and passing on the trade to his sons, who each worked alongside of him for several years.
The great passion of our father’s life was helping people through the program of Alcoholics Anonymous which he sought to do for over 45 years.
Fred is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bertha (Gosselin), sons; Philip (Linda), Louis, and David (Kellie). grandchildren, Talitha, Tabitha, Justin, Becky, and Breanne. great-grandchildren: Mia-Lynn, Autumn-Faith, and Harlen, sister Doris and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Fred was predeceased by his infant son, Stephen, brother Leonard, half-brothers Ben, Johnny and Alyre, and half-sisters Elise, Helen, Florence .
Special thanks to the staff of Kenneth E Spencer Memorial Home for their excellent care and compassion for our Dad over the past nine years.
In keeping with Dad’s wishes a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
