Alfred “Al”‘s Obituary
WILLIAMS, Alfred Reid “Al” ~ 84 ~ Born to Fred and Violet Williams in Windsor Forks and was living in Kingston for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife Nora (Smith), siblings Eleanor Clayton,( Hantsport), Peg Williams and Barbara Scott (Chateauguay QC) and Carol Draper (Bridgewater), sons, Andy (Liverpool) and Fred, grandchildren, Allison, Mitchell, Melissa, MacKenzie as well as great grandchildren, Jaxon and Addison. Al served in the Air Force and reserve for 38 years across Canada including 2 years in Germany. He volunteered numerous years at various Legions and Lions as well as the local arenas. Through the years broomball was his sport to play but hockey was his spectator sport of choice. The fishing with friends, tea with the guys or just enjoying the quiet of the cottage were his favorite things. In keeping with Al’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in Al’s memory can be made to Diabetes Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448.
