We are sad to announce the passing of Alexander James Downey “Chico” age 67 of Amherst on Tuesday November 13, 2018 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, NS.
Born in Amherst, he was the son of the late James and Lillian (Snow) Downey.
Alexander is survived by his sister Betty Downey of Alberta.
He was predeceased by his brother Aubrey Downey and his sister Jean Lindgren of Ontario.
Following Alexander’s wishes cremation has taken place, a graveside service will be held at later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906.
