Aldérice Léger
1943-2018
Aldérice Léger, 75, of Saint-Antoine, passed away
peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the UHC Dr Georges L Dumont,
Moncton on Thursday September 20, 2018. He was married to Jeanne
(LeBlanc) Léger. Born in Saint-Antoine, he was the son of the
late Gérald and the late Cécile (Cormier)
Léger.
Aldérice was a school teacher for 32 ½ years. He was
active in social activities: President Founder of the Lions Club of
Saint-Antoine, he was a volunteer fireman for Saint-Antoine,
Counsellor for the Village of Saint-Antoine from 1974 … 1977,
administration counsel of Société d’Habitation
(Foyer Saint-Antoine), counsel administration of Arcadiades, choir
member Coeur des Aboiteaux for over 18 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Jeanne, his two sons; Michel
(Diane) of Fredericton, Marc (Nadine) of Dieppe and his four precious
grandchildren; Mathieu, Félix, Simon and Jasmine. He also
leaves to mourn three sisters; Géraldine LeBlanc (Hector) of
Hudson, Mass, Gilberte Léger and Lise MacDougall both of
Moncton, his two brothers; Jean-Guy (Hectorine) of Grande-Digue and
Georges-Alfred (Mary) of Vancouver as well as several nephews and
nieces.
He was predeceased by two brothers; Léonard and Robert.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Sunday September 23,
2018 from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. The funeral Mass
will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church on Monday September 24,
2018 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Aldérice, donations may be made to the CHU DUMONT
Foundation «oncology or Kidney Department».
Thank you to Dre Ève St-Hilaire of the Oncology Department,
staff of the Nephrology Department, Cardiology Department, family
physician, Dr Jimmy Guignard, doctors and nurses of different
departments at the UHC Dr Georges-L-Dumont.

Home, Bouctouche.
