HEFFERNAN, Albert Micheal
73 years. Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on May 18, 2018 with his loving family at his side. Beloved husband and soul mate of Gail (nee Shepley). Son of the late Michael (1977) and Yvette (2004). son-in-law of Ross Shepley and the late Cecile (2003). Loving father of Doug (Cynthia) Heffernan, Wayne (Maryann) Heffernan, Lisa Heffernan (Derek), Gord (Rebecca) Nascimento and Brandon (Jillian) Nascimento. Loving papa of LeeAnn, Kylah, Alyssa, Douglas Jr, Jordan, Dallas, Dawson, Matthew, Morgan, Alex, Jack and Mason. Dear brother of Delores (late Antone) Van Osch, Ray (Sue) Heffernan, Anne Heffernan and Jerry Heffernan. Al started his career in 1965 at Quaker Oats, then went on to manage UCO and manage the Harrow Farmers Co-op until 1991. Al continued to work in sales for various car dealerships in Windsor and Es County, retiring in 2013. Memorial visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow, Thursday May 24th 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Family and friends will meet on Friday May 25th, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 120 Munger St. W. Harrow for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Rick Janisse officiating. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to Transition to Betterness.
