Obituary of Alan Hedley
April 2, 1962 – June 22, 2018
Surrounded by his loving family, Alan passed away at Lakeridge Health Hospital, Oshawa, Ontario, on Friday June 22, 2018, after a lengthy and courageous battle with lung cancer
Beloved husband of Karen for 30 years. Loving father of Benjamin, Sarah, Jessica (Gregory Baggaley) and Alanna. Loving brother of Robert Hedley, (Patricia), Christine Hurst (Ronald), Susan McCabe, Nancy Borland (Brent), John Hedley (Susan). Cherished uncle of Thomas, Katie and Emily Janston, Erica, Stephanie, Darryl, Kimberly, Jeffery, Neil, Meaghan, Dana, Mark, Brandy, Paula, Tiffany, Jennifer, Ashley, Michael, Claire.
Al will be forever missed for his work ethic and dedication to his family and friends. His sense of humour, smile and zest for life will be greatly missed by everyone.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club, 30 Ashbridges Bay Park Road, Toronto, Ontario, nearest intersection Lakeshore Blvd. East (at Coxwell).
A small private family service will be held at Union Cemetery.
