BROUWER, Adrianus Johannes “John”
After a short illness with cancer, the Lord took out of our midst our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on Friday, December 14th, 2018. Born January 25th, 1936 in the Netherlands. Survived by his beloved wife Rita of 60 years, his dear children John (Betty), Mary, Steven (Dorie), Robert (Eve), Jennifer (predeceased Barry 2017). Much loved Opa of 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Will be missed by his brother Giene Brouwer, brother-in-law Co, Aad, Nel, Hennie (Tys) many nieces and nephews all in the Netherlands. The family would like to thank all of the staff on 4F Lakeridge Health – Oshawa for their excellent care and compassion. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Monday, December 17th, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday December 18th, 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations if desired to Bolivia Mission – Christian School. (Cheques only please) would be appreciated.
