It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorette Lirette, 92, on Monday January 27th, 2025, at the Villa Providence in Shediac.
Born in Pointe-Sapin, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and the late Léa Mazerolle (Robichaud).
Lorette will be sadly missed by her son, Donald Lirette of Toronto, ON; her sister, Lina Pellerin of Shediac Bridge; her in-laws: Normand Després of Shediac Bridge and Francine Landry of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edouard “Eddy” Lirette; her twin brother, Ovila; as well as her brothers and sisters: Alyre, Emery, Yvon, Hector, Alfred, Aldéi, Anna-May Bourque (late Médore), Mérita Doiron (late Ola), Joséphine Robichaud (late Antoine), Yvette Mazerolle, Alphonse Després, and Jeanne Mazerolle.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Villa Providence in Shediac for the wonderful care they provided, as well as a very special thank you to Janice Boudreau for all the lovely visits.
In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no visitations. A funeral service will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, at 10:00am.
Donations in memory of Lorette can be made to the Vestiaire St-Joseph in Shediac.
