Norman Ronald Bourque of Miramichi, NB passed away on Sunday, April 9th, 2023 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Dieppe, NB he was the son of the late Emile and Yvonne (Allain) Bourque. He was a self-employed flooring installer for many years with Eastern Tile and Carpet. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and many memorable times at his camp, in the company of good friends.
Norman is survived by his daughter Karen Bourque (France Caissie) and son Terry Bourque (Diane), sisters: Annette Gauvin (Valmont), Diane Johnson (John) and brothers: Leonard Bourque (late Gloria), Bernard Bourque (Kim Ricker), three grandchildren: Kevin ( Annissa) and Tessa., Bradley (Summer) and four great-grandchildren: Ben, Taylin, Brynlee, Brayden. Norman will also be missed by his extended Allison Family: Gary (Maura), Sharon Kryskow (Randy), Diane Mullin (Clarence) and Phyllis Turcotte (late Yvon) as well as several nieces and nephews.
Norman will be greatly missed and forever loved by his partner Betty Allison.
Besides his parents, Norman was predeceased by his sisters: Bernice Johnston and Paulette Bourque as well as his daughter-in-law Audra (Mullin) Bourque.
Norman Ronald Bourque is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Friday, April 14th, 2023 from 12;00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 3 p.m. in the Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Father Paul Doucet officiating.
In Norman’s memory donations may be made to the SPCA of Miramichi or a charity of one’s choice.
