McALLISTER, Lois Kathleen
Born Lois Kathleen Murphy, July 15, 1933 to George and Mabel Murphy, Lois passed away on Friday, June 9th, 2023, at the Loch Lomond Villa, in her 90th year. Her loss will be felt deeply by her sons Michael (Dolores) McAllister, David (Brenda) McAllister and Scott McAllister (Patricia Muir); her grandchildren Matthew, Danielle, Megan and Morgan as well as the newest addition to her family, her great-granddaughter Oaklyn Rose, and her brothers Terrance (Anne) and Wayne (Dawn). Lois has gone to be with her late husband Morton McAllister (2021). She also joins her late siblings Robert, Lawrence, Dolores, Marie, Frances (Harold), Doreen and Loretta. All of whom will be eager to challenge her to a game of cards, not that they stand a chance of winning. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Lois lived a quiet life, she enjoyed curling, loved reading and a good bbq hamburger and of course playing cards. Her summers were filled with trips to Montague P.E.I. where she would rent a cabin every year. Many thanks to the staff and doctors at the Loch Lomond Villa for all their wonderful care and attention. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424), with visitation being held on Thursday, June 15th, 2023, from 1-2:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Charitable donations in memory of Lois McAllister may be made to the Boys & Girls Club, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society.
