It is with heavy hearts that the daughters of Linda Elizabeth Patriquen announce her passing on January 29th, 2023 at the Mill Cove Nursing Home where she has spent the last two and a half years of her ten years with Alzheimer’s disease.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Malinda Watt (James) and grandson Camden of East Lawrencetown, NS and Katie Revie and grandchildren Issac and Lucy of Calgary, AB as well as cousins Jane Hanlon and Sandra Mitchell.
Linda was born in Sus, NB September 2nd 1950, the eldest daughter of the late Glendon and Kathleen Patriquen, sister of the late Barbara Patriquen. A graduate of Sus Composite High School she then went on to attend the Saint John School of Nursing, graduating in 1972. Linda was very proud of her nursing career working primarily in NeoNatal Intensive Care at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Often running into a familiar face of a parent or patient she cared for. Linda enjoyed shopping, a really good bargain, and time spent with her daughters and grandchildren. She also loved spending time with her fabulous nursing friends and Yaya sisters.
A special thank you to Mill Cove Nursing Home and staff for their loving care. A celebration of life to be announced in the Spring. Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium (506-339-6612). Memories and condolences may be shared through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca.
