Surrounded by her family, Keying passed away peacefully, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the age of 89 years.
Predeceased by her loving husband Yongming Zhang. She leaves behind her three children, son Zao zhang, Ying Zhang and daughter Wei Zhang, four grandchildren, Xin Zhang, Chun Liang, Yujie Zhang and Richard Zhang, and two great grandchildren, Yuxuan Shi and Jaime Wu.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses, and PSW care providers from St. Mary’s Hospital and Forest Height LTC for their exceptional care, compassion and kindness for Keying and family, as well as the love, care and prayers from brothers and sisters at Kichener-Waterloo Chinese Alliance Church.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 10 – 11 am. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 am. A livestream and recording of the service will made available on Keying’s tribute page at www.erbgood.com. Cremation will take place.
