On Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at his home in Cardinal, Jody Longtin entered into rest at the age of 46 years. Jody Longtin beloved husband of Nicki Longtin (nee Swartman). Dear son of Michel Longtin and the late Marlene Longtin. Cherished father of Aurora, Corbin and Marley. Brother of Chad Longtin, Kyle Longtin (Kelly), Jaime Thorne (George), Kelly Longtin (Jeff). Brother in law of Ashley, Jenny, Bobbie (Jeremy) and Son in law of Jan Swartman. Jody is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jody, Your kind smile lit up the soccer field. Roan will never forget you coaching their team. It was truly a beginning of those boys coming together and they still are today. We will never forget the way you welcomed us each and every time you saw us on the sidelines of the soccer field. Scott will always treasure the chats he had with you. They mean even more now. Even though we did not know you fully Jody we will always treasure knowing the part of you we were fortunate enough to meet. You are one of the good guys who will be forever be thought of fondly and will be forever missed. Love from our family goes out to yours.
