McFadden, Joan Dora (nee Hills), passed away peacefully at the Lee Manor, Owen Sound on Friday May 24, 2024, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Donald McFadden and the late Joseph Martini. Loving mother to Larry Martini and his wife Kim, Catherine and her husband Robert Alexander and Janice and her husband John Miltenburg. Proud grandmother to Joseph (Marlene), Erin (Ken), Meghan (Dougal), Rebecca, Elizabeth (Kyle), Sarah (Brian) and Josh (Raessa) and to 9 great grandchildren. Sadly, missed by her many nieces and nephews and by her many friends in the communities of Southampton and Chesley. Predeceased by her parents John & Laura Hills, by her brothers, Hoarce, Walter, and Stan.
The family wish to extend their gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care of Joan at both Hampton Court and Lee Manor.
A Memorial Service will be held at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Southampton on Monday June 3, 2024, at 11am. Visitation from 10 to 11 at the Church. A Time of Fellowship and Sharing will follow in Bevan Hall. Private Family Interment of Ashes will be held at the Chesley Cemetery.
If desired, Memorial Donations may be made to St Paul’s Anglican Church.
