It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry Brubacher announces his passing, surrounded by his loved ones, at Grand River Hospital on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at the age of 68.
Henry was a hard working family man with a big heart and a zest for life. He invested many years into his career as at truck driver and constantly strived to help others. Henry could always chat up a storm especially when it came to work, family and fond memories of the past.
Lovingly remembered by daughters: Kelly (Hemraj) and Karen (Craig) and step-children: Gail (Mike), Tim (Elke), Marie (Barry) and Nancy.
Cherished by his grandchildren: Peter (Donna), Timothy (Shaunna), Sunil, Michael (Jocelyn), Andrea, Charles (Amanda), Cassandra (Zac), Nicholas, Priya, Ishaan and many great-grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by his siblings: Menno (Barb), Levi (Wendy), Dan (Laurie) and brother-in-law Allan as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his significant other of 35 years: Audrey Blanchard, father: Amos Brubacher, Mom: Leah Mayville (Shantz), and sister: Melinda Brubacher.
Henry’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 3:30 PM.
If you are unable to attend Henry’s funeral the family invites you to join the service via livestream on the funeral home website on Thursday, March 30th, 2023 at 3:30pm.
