1933-2024
At Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover on April
20, 2024, surrounded by some of her closest friends, Mrs. Frances
Lloyd of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 90. She was the widow
of Philip Lloyd who died in 2007. Born at Lake Edward in 1933, she was
a daughter of the late William and Natalie (McQuade)
Howlett.
Frances was very dedicated to her church for many years. She
was the organist at the New Denmark and Lake Edward Anglican churches
from 1985 to 1998 and at the Plaster Rock Anglican Church from 1999 to
2013.
She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Ann Conner (Jack) of
Jerusalem, her son Robert Fraser (Diane) of Saint John, three
grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother, Kenneth Howlett
(Carolyn) and a sister, Leitha Howlett, both of Fredericton,
sister-in-law, Colleen Howlett (late Bob) of Lake Edward, as well as
nieces, nephews and many good friends.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert Howlett and her
sister Anna Hanscom (late Sterling), as well as a great grandchild at
birth.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd.,
Grand Falls with visiting on Thursday, April 25th from 1:00 to 2:00
p.m.
Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on
Thursday, April 25th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold Boomer officiating.
Interment will be in the Plaster Rock Community
Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the Plaster Rock Community
Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by
the family.
