Picciano, Filomena- Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 19, 2024. Beloved wife of 65 years to Mario. Loving mother to Angelo, Silvy (Roger), Michael (Christine). Cherished Nonna to Tanya (Matt), Eric (Emily) and Bis-Nonna to Billie. Known to many as Nonna, Filomena was always taking care of her grandkids and the neighborhood children, making sure everyone was well fed and having fun. Along with her passion for cooking she also enjoyed her time traveling, gardening, sewing and dancing with family and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 26 from 2-5 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 27 at 10 am in St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 10295 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holy Family Building at 8361 Yonge Street. If desired donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
