Daniel Gerard Gosselin (also known as Uncle Buck) passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023 at the age of 64 surrounded by family in his home after a tough battle with ALS.
He will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life and wife of 28 years Monique; children Stephane (Nicole) and Kiara (Lucas); Fur babies Simba and Chewbacca; siblings Maurice Gosselin, Claude (Josee) Gosselin, Claudette (Terry) Stevens, Lise (Ray) Gosselin and Roger (Jennifer) Gosselin; mother-in-law Liliane (nee Houle) Levesque; brothers-in-law Marc (Misty) Berube and Kenneth (Holly) Levesque, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Daniel was predeceased by his parents Victor & Lucille (nee Paradis) Gosselin, brother Donald (also known as Bhout) Gosselin, father-in-law Fernand (also known as Kenny) Levesque and brother-in-law Patrick Berube.
Dan worked as a loader operator with Ray and Doris Trucking where he displayed his love, passion and commitment to his work, until he was forced to retire due to his illness in 2021. He was very outgoing and loved to joke around. Daniel was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone in need. Through the painful end, Dan maintained his joking personality, contagious laugh and the love to share stories.
A celebration of life for Daniel will be held at a later date this summer. Memorial donations to ALS Canada would be appreciated. Thank you to all our family and friends for your ongoing support through his ALS journey, it will never be forgotten!
