Della passed away quietly at the Meaford Hospital on Thursday, August 3, 2023 in her 90th year.
Born on July 13, 1934 in Keppel Township, Della was a daughter of the late George and Ivy Rowan.
She was predeceased by her first husband, George Bentley, and her second husband, Kenneth Cave.
Della will be missed by her son Paul Bentley and his wife Ann and their family. She was predeceased by her son Michael Bentley.
She will be remembered fondly by her brother Bill Rowan, his wife Pat, Doug and Melissa Cave, and Linda Banks and their families.
Della was a loving mother and she truly cherished her time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed travelling and seeing different parts of the world. She always looked forward to trips south with friends with the ‘5th wheel’. For many years Della and her friends, ‘The Group of Seven’, would get together on Fridays. Their friendship meant the world to her, and they have shared many stories, laughter and tears over the years.
Cremation has taken place and Della’s life will be celebrated in the near future with family and friends.
