Allan R. Francis,75, of Riverview, New Brunswick passed away
peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 12, 2023, with his
family by his side. Son of the late Glenn O. and Alice (Boomer)
Francis, much of Al’s career was spent as owner of a
Co-operators Insurance franchise.
Al enjoyed life and the pleasures it brought to him and his
wife Sherry. He had a lifelong passion for music and for many years
performed solo or with bands at various venues. Also dear to Allan
were art, sailing, travelling, and motorcycling with
Sherry.
He will be fondly remembered by his son, Jesse Francis, and
daughter-in-law Moira McGuire of Wellington, PE, grandchildren Rory,
Lucy, and Mary-Etta, as well as by his brother Ted and by nieces,
nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Allan was predeceased by his wife
of 40 years, Sherry (Roberts) Francis, and by his sister
Brenda.
Honouring Al’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a
service to celebrate his life will be held at Tuttle Brothers
Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Saturday, MaY
27, 2023 AT 10:30am with Rev. William Shephard
officiating
Interment will be in Wesleyan Union Cemetery, Upper Coverdale
immediately following his service.
