It is with heavy hearts that the family of Winston ‘Dukie’ Luke Moore announces his passing, which occurred at his home in Minto, New Brunswick on December 26, 2022.
Born in Minto, New Brunswick on July 22, 1943, Winston was the son of the late Bramwell Moore (born Yorkshire England) and Pauline (Skriptzik) Moore (born Werne Germany).
Winston is survived by his loving wife Katrina ‘Tenna’ (Boyd); sons Paul (Pamela) of Chipman, Richard (Sandra) of Moncton, daughters Shelley and Carla of Fredericton; brothers Melvin (Rosetta) of Massachusetts, Murray (Rose) of Cumberland Bay, David (Bonnie) of Minto, Tom of Belledune; sisters Jane Pike (late Don) of Saint John, Shirley Scoville (Murray) of Saint John, May Fraser (Harold) of Chipman, and Mary Ann Wyllie (Fred) of Fredericton. Winston is also survived by three grandsons; Kristen and Dylan Moore of Chipman and Colten Moore of Moncton; a great grandson Colby Moore of Chipman; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Winston is predeceased by brothers Leonard Moore and George Moore(Ellen); sisters Hilda Hoyt (late Alton) and Emma Mae Moore.
At Winston’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private memorial for the family and close friends is to be determined.
