On January 10, 2022, Shyam “Sammy” Sunder Gambhir, passed away at the age of 75, in Longueuil, Quebec at Pierre Boucher Hospital.
Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Sammy managed his last days with strength. A caring husband and loving father, he is survived by his wife Jyoti, daughter Rosalyn and brother Balbir.
He is preceded by his daughters Julie, Angi and wife Santosh along with his close brother Jagdish Gambhir.
He was known for his smile, joking personality, love of fishing and always enjoyed telling a good story and having a good time. Sammy was an accomplish businessman and entrepreneur for over 40 years in the jewelry industry after immigrating to Canada from India.
Due to current Covid restrictions, the viewing will be private and those attending are required to wear a mask or face covering and attendance will be controlled. We thank you for your understanding. A celebration of life in honour of Sammy’s memory will take place at a later date.
