Shirley passed away at Hospice Niagara on April 30th, 2022 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Donald. Sadly missed by her 4 children Wayne (Allen) Cathy Teal-Claxton, Derrick (Nancy) and Todd (Anna) as well as her grandchildren; Caleb, Christopher, Oliver, Lucas (Mae), Ashley (Jesse), Kayley (Dalton). Also survived by her sister-in-law Betty and bother-in-law Chuck as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her sister JoAnne. In her lifetime Shirley was probably best known for operating her own restaurant, Shirley’s Luncheonette, managing the Skillet restaurant as well as the managing the cafeteria at Fleet Industries in her last 20 years of employment. Shirley always lived looking for new challenges and experiences within her community and will be sadly missed.
Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 5th from 10:30 am until the time of service in the chapel at 11 o’clock. A reception and burial will follow. If so desired, donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
