Gallant – The death
occurred, surrounded by her loving family, at the Prince County
Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 of Sarah
Gallant, of St. Eleanors, aged 89 years. Born in Ellis River, she was
the daughter of the late Augustine and Josephine (Cameron) McNeill.
Survived by her children Diane (Dennis) Meneely, Ronnie Gallant, Lu
(Jack) Clark, Marlene (Joe) Noonan, Kevin (Dawna) Gallant, Brenda
(Chris) McNeill, Leonard Gallant (Richel Nixon), and Lisa (Kirk) Ryan;
grandchildren, Tyler, Joel, Ryan, Kyle, Korey, Kurtis, Griffin, Mason,
Melissa, Amanda, Paige, Nicole, Hayden, Corina and Jessica; by 12
great-grandchildren; a brother, Benny McNeill; sister, Lill Gallant;
and by a sister-in-law Florence McNeill. Predeceased by her husband
Leo I. Gallant; brothers Walter, Leonard, Francis, and Arnold McNeill;
and by a sister Doreen Gallant. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Paul’s Church,
Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St.
Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada (PEI) or St.
Paul’s Church, Summerside would be appreciated.
