The death occured at the Moncton City Hospital, on Tuesday,
October 18, 2022, following a brief illness, of Ruth Dianne Arthur,
age 66 years. Beloved and devoted wife of Barry Roy Arthur, of Dock
Road, Elmsdale. Born on July 13, 1956, she was the daughter of the
late Alton George and Frances Ida (nee Greene) Hardy.
Loving mother to Kevin (Melissa) Arthur, of Freetown, and
Kimberly Arthur (Tim Gillis), of Summerside. Cherished grandmother to
Bennett and Elliot. Dear sister to Cyril (Connie) Hardy, of Union,
Cecil (Lynn) Hardy, of Gard Road, Blair (Janet) Hardy, of Fortune
Cove, and Karen (Dean) Arsenault, of Bloomfield. She is also survived
by her father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Wanda Arthur, of Alberton.
She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian Arthur
(deceased), Elsie Arthur, of Cascumpec, Beverly (Paul) Goguen, of
Brooklyn, and Brent (Christine) Arthur, of Alberton. She will be sadly
missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and
acquaintances.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton.
Visiting hours Friday, October 29, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to
9:00 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from the E.
Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, for funeral service at a time to be
announced. Interment to follow in the Elmsdale United Church
Cemetery.
