The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of
Community Hospital, O’Leary on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 of
Robert «Allison» Ellis of West Cape aged 87, beloved
husband of Melba (nee MacIsaac). Allison was born April 19, 1935 in
West Cape, son of the late Earle and Clara (Dumville)
Ellis.
Dear father to Michael, Amber Whittaker, Merle (Karen) and
Melody Ellis (Val Murray). Loving grampy to Amanda, Sara (Mike),
Nathan (Megan), Parker (Marissa), Christian Quinne, Elyse (Jordan),
Kevin (Amy), Chelsey (Blair), Megan (Jason), Spencer (Emily) and great
grampy to Dustin, Caleb, Jack, Emily, Arabelle, Milo, Cyrus, Rowan,
Blake and Monroe. Brother in law to Ada Ellis, Bobby MacIsaac, Rose
MacIsaac and Virginia Proude.
Allison was predeceased by his parents, son Blake, brother
Kenneth and sister Thelma (Randall) Boates.
Allison was a life long farmer and fisherman and served the
area as a MLA from 1978 to 1993. Most Worshipful Brother, Allison was
Past Grandmaster of Masons for PEI, Past Master of Corinthian Lodge#
19, O’Leary.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel with visiting
hours on Saturday from12:30pm to 2:30pm Brothern from Corinthian Lodge
# 19, O’Leary will hold a Masonic service for their late
brother on Saturday at 2:30pm. Funeral will be in the Chapel at 3pm.
Interment to follow in the Bethel United Church
Cemetery.
