WHYBREW, Philip (Phil) Herbert
Our family is saddened to announce the sudden passing of Philip Herbert
Whybrew on January 10, 2022 in his 86th year.
Philip was born in Fulham, England on July 8, 1936 to parents, Herbert and
Ada (Brown) Whybrew and immigrated to Canada when he was 18. He is
pre-deceased by siblings Stephen and Paulette. Phil is survived by his
Brother Chris.
Lovingly remembered by his two children: Philip (Sheryl) Whybrew of Birtle,
Manitoba and Samantha (Mark) Baumhour of Madoc, Ontario. His
grandchildren Amanda, Katelyn, Michael, Daniel, Zachary, and Caleb and his
two great grandchildren Kaiden and Eloise.
Phil was a draftsman and worked for several firms including Ontario Hydro,
Northern Telecom, eventually retiring from Cornerstone Builders. He was
passionate about several things in his life: sheep farming, auction sales,
stamps and his family. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and
loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Centre Hastings People Helping
People (11337 Hwy 62, Madoc, ON K0K 2K0). Cremation has taken place
and no services are planned as per Phil’s wishes.
