Penelope Jane Kellington
On November 10th, 2022, we bid a fond farewell to one of God’s special people. Penny Kellington passed after being a recipient of the Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program with the complete support of all of her family.
She was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend and was loved by all who knew her.
Penny was a wonderful daughter to her parents, the late Forbes and Jane Rutherford. She leaves behind; her husband of 59 years, Charles Arthur; her sister Pat (late Peter); her daughters Heather (Cameron) and Patricia as well as her grandchildren Jacob, Megan, Logan (Paige), Elle (Jordan), and Madeline.
The family are celebrating Penny’s life in a private celebration as was her wishes. Should anyone want to honour the life of Penny, donations to the Elgin Food Bank would be appreciated. Thank you to all the professionals of Penny’s healthcare teams for their excellent assistance during Penny’s battle with cancer.
