Paul Davis
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Davis on November 13th at the age of 80 years old, surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 57 years, Aileen, and his sons, Dean (Sherry), Derek (Charmaine), Shawn and his grandson Skyler. He will be missed dearly by his many friends, nieces, nephews and all relatives.
Paul loved spending his summers at camp on Nepewassi Lake, enjoying fishing, hunting, and gardening, of course always with a cold beer in his hand. There was never a weekend went by where there wasn’t a group of people enjoying the property, sharing a bon fire and sitting in the sauna for hours on end.
He was an amazing father and husband, whether it was surprising Aileen with flowers for no particular reason or coaching his son’s hockey teams in the winter, driving them to games and practices volunteering his time endlessly. He also bowled in a men’s league on the same team as his 3 boys for many years, being most proud of his 2 perfect games. Also joining the VNEA pool league so that he could watch and play along side the boys.
Paul will be greatly missed but for those who knew him, we can take comfort in the abundance of memories we all had with Paul.
At this time there will be no visitation or service. There will be something held in the springtime.
