Paul Edward Calver was born May 3, 1961 in Lindsay, ON. He passed peacefully in Palliative Care at Ross Memorial Hospital September 19, 2022. He was surrounded by family and friends. Paul is pre-deceased by his Mother Hazel Gaynor, Sister Marylynn Sorensen, Step Father Merv Gaynor and Sister in Law Connie Calver. He is survived by his loving partner Tracey Kruger, Brother Douglas Calver and his children, Nicole Calver (Brian), Brad Calver (Heidi) and Tyson Calver (Julie). He will be fondly remembered by his eight grandchildren, Nolan, Grayden, Ella, Addison, Trent, Nova, Lily and Paxton and his nieces and nephews, Michael, Christopher, Yokohi and Toara. Paul will be lovingly remembered for his love of classic cars, rock music, his larger than life smile, funny facial expressions, crude jokes, being the official shoe fairy to his grandchildren, time spent fishing with his kids and his love for his dog Broleigh (the Bobcaygeon mascot). Paul was fondly known as “smurf” and ”pee-wee”, what he lacked in stature, he made up for in personality. We would like to thank his AA sponsor Murray, who provided endless guidance and friendship to Paul over the years, as well as his dear friend Dave Morris. We extend our thoughts to all of those in the AA program, who had an impact on Paul’s life. In lieu of donations, we ask that you stop and take the time to appreciate all of the people and things in your life that you cherish and love.
