Obituary
It is with great sadness, our family announces the sudden passing of our dear Pat.
Patsy Anne Sampson, late of Saskatoon, SK passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 72 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Winnie Johnston.
Pat is survived by her husband Marvin, Oungre, SK; her daughter Sheri (Shannon) Luoma, Saskatoon, SK; grandsons: Mason, Easton and Kylen Luoma, Saskatoon, SK; her son Shawn (Nadine) and her children: Austin, Jaxon, Mackenzie, Martensville, SK.
Pat was born in Lampman, SK, on July 18, 1949, the only daughter of Walter and Winnie Johnston. She grew up on Alemeda, SK. Pat became an x-ray technician after graduating high school and worked at the Weyburn Union Hospital.
In 1977, she married Marvin Sampson and they lived on the farm in Oungre, SK. In March 1979, Sheri was born and in July 1983, Shawn was born. Pat loved attending their school activities and cheered them on at their sporting events.
Marvin and Pat decided to also have a home in Saskatoon so they could be close to their grandchildren. Pat adored her grandsons and attended as many of their activities or sporting events that she could. Marvin and Pat continued to live at their farm in the summer and Saskatoon in the winter. Pat also enjoyed watching her afternoon “shows” and curling on T.V. Pat always looked forward to coffee visits with her family and close friends.
A Private Family Farewell Graveside Service will be held at Bromhead Cemetery, Bromhead, SK at a later date.
