M. Mavis Pollock (VISITATION ARRANGEMENTS)
1945-2022
A Celebration of Life visitation for the late Mavis Pollock will be
held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on
Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm.
Mavis was born in Campbellton, NB on January 29, 1945, a daughter of
the late Joe and Anita (Doiron) Maisey. She passed away peacefully on
July 24, 2022 at Shannex Neill Hall, Fredericton, NB surrounded by her
loving family.
Mavis had a sharp wit and enjoyed the simple things in life; a clean
house, a bag of Lays chips, a cold can of Coke and watching the Saint
John River flowing by from her deck. She also enjoyed a good game of
45’s and spending time with her family, especially her
grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Shane (Lisa) Pollock, New Maryland,
NB, Lynn (Mike) Bujold, Saint John, NB and Jamie (Erica) Pollock,
Nackawic, NB; six grandchildren, Mitchell and Nicholas Pollock,
Christopher and Samantha Bujold, Dawson and Blake Pollock; three
sisters-in-law, Gail Maisey, Grand Cache, Alberta, Heather MacDiarmid
(Dave), Riverview, NB and Sharon Pollock-Munson, West Vancouver, BC; a
brother-in-law, John Pollock (Sofia), Colombia, South America and
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Weldon
on September 20, 2015 and a brother, Mitch Maisey.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Mavis, the family
has suggested the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of choice.
