With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria on August 9, 2022, at 92 years of age in Simcoe, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Egon Horsch (1976). Loving mother of Maria Sabourin (late Roger) and Anna Horsch (Robert). Treasured Grandma of Daniel Heppell (Jenna), Brandon Sabourin (Lauren), Mike Sabourin (Breanna). Great grandma of Mason, Cali, and her fur babies. Sister of Rino, Nella, and Anna. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Maria loved to garden, knitting and crocheting. She was a devout Catholic and she will remain in our hearts forever. A private family graveside service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill. Donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
