Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his parents Josef and Julie Brunner, his wife Lieselotte and his sister Marianne Scheid. Survived by his children Josef Brunner (Katherine), Ann McParland and Carol Miller (Michael). Eight grandchildren survive Joseph and Katherine Brunner, Sam and Ben Miller, Aidan and Charlotte McParland, Erin and Michael Brunner and one great grandchild Rosalie Miller.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel 4 James St East Brockville, Ontario on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., when a celebration of Josef’s life will be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville SPCA or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Service will be gratefully acknowledged.
