Sorenson, Jason Gary Allan:
Passed away on September 14th, 2022 at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 38 after a short illness.
Beloved son of Jodi Sorenson (Rob Smith) and Mark Sorenson (Ingrid Evans).
Dear father of Milo.
Loving brother of Dane and Laura (Matt) and step-brother of: Amanda, Travis, Jim and Michelle.
Dearly missed by his grandmothers: Patricia Sorenson and Jill MacLean-James (Fred).
Predeceased by his grandfathers: Gary Sorenson and Allan MacLean.
Jason is dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
Jason was a free spirit who had a great sense of humor and loved to travel Canada.
Jason’s family will receive relatives and friends from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of life will be held in the funeral home chapel to follow at 1:00pm.
Jason’s family wishes to thank the ICU staff, nurses and doctors at Grand River Hospital (Kitchener) and Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate care as well as Trillium Foundation for their support and guidance.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Milo Banda Trust Fund (cheques to be made payable to Laura Sorenson) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
