June 27, 1934 – December 19, 2022
Passed away peacefully on December 19, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 88yrs. Beloved wife of the late Armando (2007). Loving mother of sons Angelo (Suzanne) and Aldo (Franca). Cherished Nonna of Stephanie (Stephen), Adam (Laura), Lorenzo and Alessia. Proud Bis-nonna of Lyla and Luca. Predeceased by her parents Eleuterio and Luisa Scarapicchia. Dear sister of late Sante (late Adalgisa), late Esterina (late Domenico) Valeri, late Felice (Maria), late Maria (late Sante) Sorgi, late Ida (late Umberto) Sordilli, late Teresa (late Umberto) Ignini, Guilia (late Michele) DeVellis, late Domenica (late Guido) Mancini, Angelo (Maria Teresa). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Ivi Ule. Giovanna worked together along with her husband in their family business, Armando’s Janitorial. Giovanna was a devoted loving mother and nonna who’s greatest joy and pride was her family. The family would like to thank the staff of Aspen Lake for their kind and compassionate care that they provided to her over the past 5 years. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519)253-7234 on Thursday December 22, 2022 from 3 to 7pm. Funeral services on Friday December 23, 2022 at 8:45am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 9:30am. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the In Honour of the One’s we Love or the Charity of your Choosing.
