Florence’s Obituary
BROWN, Florence Louise – age 80, of Yarmouth, passed away on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Shelburne, NS, January 19th, 1942. She was a stay-at-home Mom who loved music and always played her radio at night to help her fall asleep and did so to the end. She enjoyed her church, doing puzzle books, watching game shows and her stories. She attended Yarmouth Wesleyan Church and took comfort in the hymns, scriptures, and the kind people she met there. Florence was predeceased by her parents; James and Florence Wilson, her son Gary Martin Wilson, sisters; Emma, Laura, Joyce, Leora, and brother Harold. She is survived by her children; Florence (Peter) Muise, Denise Lawrence, Fred Wilson, Frank Wilson, Martha (Michael) Newell, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters; Violet, Helen and Jennifer. brothers; Arthur, Charles and Louis. Visitation will be held at Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 21st, 2022, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., Pastor David Hockley officiating, interment to follow in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Gilles Boudreau Foundation. Flowers welcome. Reception for immediate family following the service.
