LAND, Florence Eveline “Flo” (nee Cook)
In the arms of her family, Flo was called home to God following a courageous battle with cancer on September 29th, 2022, in her 87th year.
Florence, beloved wife of the late Reginald Land, and loving mother to Cathy and Barry, Stephen and Terri, Chris and Sue, and Suzanne and Roger. Loving grandmother, fondly known as Nan, of Matt and Michelle, Jeremy, Ryan and Chantelle, Adam and Crystal, Megan and Mike, Jason and Theresa, Peter and Gina, Christina, Victoria, Braydan, and Spensar. Survived by her sister-in-law, Violet (Ray), and Jack (Joan.)
Cherished by twenty-three great grandchildren, many relatives, close friends, and her dear late companion, William “Bill” Polak. Pre-deceased by her mother, father, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be held at Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville, on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 6 – 8 pm, and Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Service to Follow. Interment at Bowmanville Cemetery.
