FELHABER, Dorothy
It is with saddened hearts we announce that Dorothy went to be with her Lord on December 29, 2022, at the age of 92. Met in heaven by her husband Carl, son Carl Jr., parents Arthur and Jenny, sisters Audrey and Winnie, brother Art, and granddaughter Joselyn. She will be missed and forever cherished by her daughter Sherri and son Greg (Judy). Beloved «Dot» and gram to Jennifer (Eric), Amy (Justin), and Hube. Doting Gigi to Ethan, Jayden, Zachary, Aspen, and Celeste, with another little boy on the way. Aunt to many nieces and nephews, and friend to so many around her. Dearest eldest sister to Roberts, Frank, Allan, and Willa. Dorothy’s passion in her life was service to others in volunteering and caring for her grandchildren. A proud member of Southpoint Community Church for many, many years. She served in the kitchen, choir, and various bible studies. Dorothy will be remembered for her keen sense of humour, enjoying her family time with summers in New Brunswick visiting her roots, and her ever presence in the kitchen at home making family meals. Many thanks and much gratitude to the staff at Chartwell Royal Oak in Kingsville for their kindness, care and compassion during her final days. If so inclined, donations can be made by cheque to Southshore Christian School. Visitation will be held at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street (519-326-2631), on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 10am until the time of service at 12pm.
