With great sadness our family has lost a mother, sister, aunt, nana and a strong female figure. Dianne passed away peacefully in Grimsby, Ontario, on Monday August 29, 2022, lovingly surrounded by her doting children, Terri-Lynne, Gina (Lillico), and John, her favourite son-in law Geoff, her singing sister and scholarly nephew, a wandering sailor, a semi-pro golfer, two special farm girls and Nana Mouskouri singing in the background.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Fred and Luva, siblings Tom, Karen and Freddie. Dianne is survived by her sister Dolores and brother Roy. She is fondly remembered as a favourite and fun aunt by her nieces and nephews.
Proud and fun loving Nana to Christina, Natalie, Elliott, Danielle, Monica, Alyssa, Hannah, Joshua, Brooke, and Jacob. Super-Great Nana to Landon, whom she adored and enjoyed many special times with.
Nana will always be remembered for her Amazing Family Race’s. She loved family game nights and was always ready for fun. Board games, cards, swim races, nightly euchre with family and Bingo with her good friend Eva.
Dianne and her sailing buds and lifetime friends, Carol, Jane and Laurie “sailed” through life navigating water and land in a non-traditional current. Thank you to our trailblazers’ ♥
