Charity Lee Fleet
1979-2022
The passing of Charity Lee Fleet of Maces Bay NB and formerly
of Grand Manan NB occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional
Hospital, Saint John NB on September 13, 2022. Born in Saint John NB
on May 27, 1979, she was a daughter to Gerry Fleet and Sheila
(Ingersoll) Fleet. A loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Charity
is survived by her mother: Sheila Fleet of Maces Bay NB; her father:
Gerry Fleet of Grand Manan NB; siblings: Julianna Fleet of Dipper
Harbour NB and Gerry Paul Fleet (Trisha) of Saint John NB; her
cherished nieces and nephews: Sadie Tulk, Braxton Tulk, Carmine
Hubbard and Travis Fleet; chosen nephew: Jacob Kelly; her aunts: Faye
Guptill (Roger), Lorraine Harvey and Diane Ashfield (Alan) all of
Grand Manan NB; and many cousins.
Charity was employed with Kindred Home Care where her clients
quickly became like family. She truly had a compassionate heart and
loved helping others when she could. She loved throwing parties for
her friends and family and always put amazing effort into decorations
and food, especially for Halloween. Charity loved her nieces and
nephews and spoiled them any chance she had. She was an animal lover
who loved her dogs dearly and in her free time she enjoyed going on
road trips with no destination planned. Her love and caring spirit
will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Seaside
Baptist Church, Maces Bay NB with visiting on Monday from 6-8 pm. The
service will be held from the church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev.
Rachel Kwan officiating, followed by the interment in the Maces Bay
Cemetery. In Charity’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s
choice would be appreciated by the family.
