It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cécile Marie Piette at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Wednesday, October 19,2022 at the age of 94. Dear daughter of the late Arthur and Lucia (Montreuil) Bourcier. Beloved wife of Wilfrid Piette (1971). Loving mother of Suzette Bégin (Pierre) and Colette Trudeau. Cherished by her grandchildren Matthieu, Steven, Elise, Patrique and Danielle and great grandmother of Adelia, Zadie, Wilfred and Eleny. Dear sister of Lucille Faubert of Whitby and predeceased by her other siblings. Sadly missed by her friends and the staff at Extendicare Port Hope. Cécile enjoyed going to bingo, spending time with her cousins and watching her Montreal Canadiens play hockey. Cremation with a memorial mass will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations to the Espanola Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
A funeral mass and interment will be held in June 2023.
