Carol Anne Neily (Cain)
October 16, 1941 – September 23, 2022
Neily (Cain) Carol Anne, It is with loving memories and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother Carol (Cain) Neily, age 80, after a short but courageous battle with Cancer and COPD on Sept 23rd/2022. Carol was born in Yarmouth NS on Oct 16,1941 and was a daughter to the late Etta(Co) and George Cain. Carol was happily married and survived by the love of her life John Neily for 57 wonderful years. Carol is survived by 2 loving daughters, Rebecca Neily and Barbara (Jason) Stubbs who meant the world to her. Carol is also survived by her 2 beloved sisters Beth Trask and Marilyn king whom she adored as well as her sister-in-law Judy Pinsent. Carol loved dearly and was so proud of and is survived by her only grandson Carter Stubbs along with many other dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Carol loved her family wholeheartedly and was always there when needed by many. One of her greatest loves was her pup Kaci whom she missed very much the last couple of years after his passing. They are together now with him sitting on her lap in her rocker. She loved reading mysteries, knitting and spending time with those she loved. Carol was a retired RN who graduated in 1963 from Yarmouth Regional Hospitol School of Nursing. She was a very kind compassionate and proud woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We will forever be grateful for all she did for her family. At mom’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. Instead she will be taken home to Yarmouth for a simple family graveside service with a reception to follow at a later date. We love you mom and will miss you forever.
